Vieux Mac Faye, a composer and arranger, merges several styles which has garnered him the trophy of best guitarist.

After having rented out his services to various well-known national and international music groups, he decided to establish his own group, the "Mac Tenor Band" in 1989. He has a fondness for jazz, which he fuses with Senegalese sounds.

He travels the world playing at various festivals and has two albums.
